This husband and wife team that met traveling in Asia 17 years has created a socially responsible initiative that supports many artisan groups in Thailand. The clothing from Thailand is organized by a family with whom they have worked for many years. They organize small tailoring groups where the sewers are paid by piece for their work. No factory or child labor is ever used. Workers are paid higher than average wages and are free to move on at any point. Typically there are waiting lists to become a tailor with their artisan groups. Most of the families supported by this initiative have gone from having no running water to purchasing land, motorized vehicles and sending their children to college.
